„Wir Krisendarsteller*innen: Lookalike in anger!“ | Call to Action: Crisis Choir of the Independent Scene

Dear colleagues, friends, allies,
We are collaborating with Theater Thikwa on „Wir Krisendarsteller*innen: Lookalike in anger!“ (We Crisis Actors) and invite you to join a video choir of the independent scene, which will be shown on screen at HAU 1 – Hebbel am Ufer Berlin.
It is about a kind of appropriation of a political battle term that authoritarian actors use to discredit their opponents.

How it works:

• Download the MP3 via this link: *LINK to the music (show must go on singalong.mp3)
• Listen to the song through headphones and sing along a cappella (singing quietly to yourself is absolutely sufficient). *LINK to the lyrics.
• Film yourself from the beginning of the mp3 to the end, vertically (portrait), i.e. using your smartphone. *LINK to the demo video
• if you can’t sing, just move your lips or even just look into the camera.
• When the singing ends, the music continues for a little while longer. Please let the video run until the music finishes. During this time, you can remain seated and look at the camera, drink coffee, stand up, or walk away.
• The individual videos will later be edited into a large choir.
  Optional:
  If you like, you can apply blue eye makeup, wear a bandage or a plaster — as if you were in a theatre dressing room preparing (for the crisis).
